Verulamium WARNING

WARNING!!

One of our walkers has seen 12 dead ducks at Verulamium lakes (St Albans) in one week.

She has phoned the council who are aware of the problem and the RSPCA are investigating. 
She asked if the water is toxic to dogs but they couldn't comment and just said that if a dog drinks any of the water, to notify their vet.

There are NO warning signs around the lake. She has contacted the local newspaper who will look into the issue .

In the meantime, do NOT let your dogs in the water there just in case.
